Photojournalist (Overnight)
FOX6 is looking to add its newest member to our award-winning photo team! Every day you will use state-of-the-art technology to shoot and edit the best HD-quality footage in town. Join a company with world-class benefits and a generous time off plan including paid holidays, vacation, and more!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You’ll collaborate with the Assignment Desk, Producers, Editors, News Managers and Reporters to obtain the best visuals, the best “moments,” the best sound, the best news story. You will monitor police scanners and beat the competition to the big stories. If innovative storytelling through shooting and editing is part of your DNA than FOX6 has the tools for you to create compelling and unique stories that viewers will need and want to see!
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
• At least two years of Television News shooting experience, as well as technical knowledge of non-linear editing software, preferably Edius, and photo equipment
• Must be physically able to lift, carry and handle 30 to 50 pounds of camera gear, and deal with the realities of a Wisconsin winter or summer.
• Position requires driving.
• Drone license preferred
