Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Produce daily show with entertaining, informational and news segments, and sales integrations for a multiplatform distribution.
- Crafting segments including stacking, writing, editing copy, in-studio moves, and ordering graphics.
- Coordinate live shots with directors, production staff and reporters.
- Line-produce from the control room during live and pre-recorded broadcasts.
- Responsible for products content and style, including coordination of sales integrations
- Use Social Media tools daily to enhance and promote products and talent.
- Develop original ideas, determine potential guests and book them.
- Work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends and evenings.
- Works with Sales to explore and create new revenue opportunities.
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of three years’ experience producing a daily entertainment/news show in a medium to large TV market required.
- Experience in producing talk shows, interviews/panel shows, and news magazines is a plus.
- Candidate should also have booking experience.
- Excellent and grammatically accurate Spanish language skills – both written and oral - required. Bilingual - fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Ample knowledge of television production, equipment and computer systems required.
- Working knowledge of INEWS.
- Proficiency in all aspects of social media.
Desired Skills & Experience
- A college degree in Journalism, Radio/Television or related field from accredited University required.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be willing to work from office in Orlando
- Employment/education will be verified
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
