Job Description

The producer supervises all technical and artistic aspects of photo and video advertising productions.
  • The producer coordinates and supervises photo and video projects from the start of the briefing until final delivery, ensuring that all processes run reliably and efficiently.
  • Obtain client briefing and all necessary materials. Anticipate problems and discuss them with the team.
  • Present the project and the client's vision of the mandate to the team.
  • Develop project budgets/estimates in collaboration with supervisors, executive producers, technical leads and other key resources.
  • Plan, organize and coordinate production stages and schedules. Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines. Serve as the point of contact for all production needs, from initial bid to final product.
  • Identify the resources needed for each project. Delegate specific tasks.
  • Supervise and support artists, directors and creative directors throughout the project. Demonstrate strong leadership and provide support as needed. Keep the team motivated and engaged.
  • Determine production processing, impact, lead times and schedule.
  • Ensure the project remains within the allocated budget.
  • Ensure compliance with the production process (steps, stakeholders, means of production, post-production, etc.) and monitor the work accomplished. Manage conflicts and obstacles and transmit solutions.
  • Oversee relationships with client and stakeholders (e.g. suppliers, freelancers, etc.). Ensure customer satisfaction as the project progresses. Listen to the customer and maintain effective communication. Keep them informed of progress and obstacles encountered.
  • Represent the advertising division at different events.
  • Ensure that the final deliverable meets our quality standards. Achieve project objectives and deliver final product according to quality standards.
  • Supervise the project launch, client debriefing and team review.
  • Finalize billing.
  • Assist executive producers and managers with administrative tasks.

Qualifications
  • A university degree in a field relevant to the position or equivalent relevant experience;
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in advertising, photography and/or video production;
  • Comfort with computer tools, knowledge of G Suite, MAC computers. Office Suite, as well as Dropbox;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate easily with various partners and stakeholders;
  • A great sense of organization and excellent priority management;
  • Attention to detail and rigor in the management of material and human resources;
  • Great ability to work under pressure;
  • Initiative, great sense of autonomy and resourcefulness;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers;
  • Ability to resolve problems and conflicts effectively and constructively
