Job Description

 A production artist is expected to be a creatively resourceful, organized, and a highly collaborative team player eager to engage in a communication driven and quick-turn Creative Solutions department. This individual works closely with other Digital Designers and Copywriters under the supervision of the Art Director.

The Production Artist will be expected to:
  • Design and collaborate with Copywriters, Digital Designers, and the Art Director to support creative campaigns
  • Design and layout for both print and digital platforms
  • Work within a design system to execute deliverables for a custom CMS
  • Help fulfill all project requests across the brand portfolio
  • Work and communicate directly with stakeholders to execute on deliverables
Qualifications/Requirements
  • At least 2 years of education in digital design or Associate's Degree and 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Proficient with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Cloud; specifically, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Foundational knowledge of typography standards, file management, and print & digital production
  • Ability to execute feedback and be flexible to change and adapt quickly
  • Comprehensive project planning skills, including the ability to organize and prioritize job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines that may shift other priorities
  • Knowledge of best practices and experience with responsive design
  • Preliminary understanding of strategic advertising design
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Educated level in basic grammar, spelling and communication; some light copywriting and editing a bonus
  • Works fast and dependably with a keen ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Works well with others; handles edits, changes and updates professionally
  • Demonstrates and maintains consistent graphic standards to uphold brand integrity across the portfolio
Desired Characteristics
  • Knowledge of sports—playing, following, industry—a plus
  • Must be willing to work in Minneapolis, MN office
  • Must provide a portfolio of work examples - if available, include a web address when you submit your resume
