Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities:

Assists supervisor with coordination of traffic department and sales staff to expedite radio commercials and rotation of commercials according to the specifications requested by client and/or sales department.

·         Prepares the system for proper placement of commercials.
·         Calls clients and plays commercials for approval.
·         Files and organizes copy.
·         Performs additional duties in small stations, such as fill-in for on-air personality.  
·         Other duties may be assigned.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other skills and abilities: Ability to operate a reel-to-reel tape recorder, audio-processing equipment (digital or analog), and a computer for general office functionality.
