Executive Producer and documentary crew are seeking a Production Assistant to work on location with the team. You will be working with camera/ lighting and audio equipment. If you are interested in gaining valuable on-the-job experience, this is a great opportunity.
However, you need to know the basics of production. You need some experience as a PA or in another production role so we can hit the ground running. This is a pilot for a docuseries, and if it goes well, we will be filming for 30 weeks.
The current schedule is Jan 20 to April 30, shooting for 10 to 15 days within that time frame.
We are not hiring you to get us coffee; we need you to participate as a crew member and learn as you go. Must be able to lift a 50lb lighting or camera case. You must have a positive attitude, be respectful, and be polite and you must be willing to learn.
Hours are not long, but due to the nature of the storyline, some shoots will be last minute. Most shoot days will be daytime during the morning sun or late day sun.
Shooting is to take place in the South Philadelphia area, but the office is in Brewytown. Having your own car is helpful but unnecessary as long as you can show up on time.
