Job Description

The Production Coordinator will be a vital member of the Production Management department responsible for assisting in project vetting and preparation, managing data sources, schedules, and content production information for the Discovery, Animal Planet and Science channels, as well as for TNT, TBS, and Tru TV. Working as part of a dynamic and collaborative team, the Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and liaise with other employees in the department. The Production Coordinator will play a crucial role in providing support to domestic and global productions, ensuring that all matters are managed in a timely and efficient manner.

Your Role Accountabilities
  • Track and maintain ROI data tracker through pnf to ROI
  • Track and maintain year to year budget tracking for current programming
  • Assist with meetings, schedules and departmental logistics 
  • Maintain consistent and proactive communication across all platforms and clients.
  • Work with other production managers on maintaining project documentation and finding efficiencies.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3 yrs experience in physical production in network un-scripted, scripted or similar genres.
  • BS/BA in Film and Production preferred or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Physical production experience in un-scripted, scripted or similar genres a plus.
  • Movie Magic Budgeting Software a plus.
  • Familiarity with production financial procedures and deliverables requirements.
  • Must be proficient with spreadsheet database applications including Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft, and Word for Windows.
  • Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Candidate must have the ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Pay Range: $37,521.00 - $69,682.00 salary per year.
