Summary

The Production Coordinator II - Studio is responsible for supporting Studio Production Manager, Account Executives & Studio Operations in the planning and execution of any productions at the PRG Digital Studios. You work with all departments to establish an onset workflow and ensure that all relevant stakeholders have access to interfaces relevant to their onset responsibilities as needed.

Job Description

Responsibilities
 
While not all-inclusive, following is a list of primary and general duties.  In addition to these listed duties, this position shall also perform other tasks as assigned and shall abide by the provisions of the Employee Handbook.   It is the policy of PRG to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.  Employees are expected to perform all of their duties and responsibilities in accordance with this policy at all times.

Coordinate & attend pre-show planning meetings – create & manage calendars, production schedules and timelines to execution.

Coordinates, prepares, plans and executes hospitality staffing and communicates needs to travel coordinator to ensure budget compliance.

Coordinates planning of studio preparation and communicates to crewing and account management team.

Creates & manages daily schedules, call sheets and ensures distribution to Sales, Studio Crew Services & in-house operations.

Coordinates site parking, load in and load out logistics.

Facilitates communication between Client, Account Executive and Studio Staff – relaying expectations and changes timely.

Coordinates deliveries to and from the studio and relates to appropriate department

Coordination includes sub rental discovery, purchase order execution and logistics

Coordinate with Asset Management on getting equipment to the show site based on customer specs.

Enters sales data into proprietary inventory management system (TEAM)

Communicate equipment lists to PM/AE/Show Crew as instructed

Support the fluid advancements of projects from Sales to Operations

Ability to work knowledgeably within at least one discipline and have had exposure to other disciplines (Audio, Video, Lighting, LED, Labor).

Ability to read, adapt, change and draw set drawings and lighting plots.

Work with all departments to establish on set workflow and ensure that all relevant stakeholders have access to interfaces relevant to their onset responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited institution of higher learning with a concentration in business administration, hospitality management, operations management or related entertainment technology fields. Or equivalent amount of production related experience.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in project/production coordination within the entertainment market or equivalent experience in shop or show site operations.

Must be able to execute technically difficult work and maintain a productive attitude under the pressure of live action production.

Must be highly computer literate.

Must be an excellent troubleshooter to diagnose and solve issues in complex integrated systems of computers, video recording systems, software, and other sensor driven systems.

Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures used in visual effects and live-action film production

Excellent communication, interpersonal and diplomacy skills.

Must be detail oriented, highly organized and be able to handle a variety of tasks in an efficient manner.

Ability to handle multiple projects at once.
