The ability to forge solid relationships with sources and react quickly in a deadline-driven environment is important.

Requirements:
- 3 -5 years’ experience in covering news
- Working well with staff
- Knowledge of social media and the ability to monitor a variety of platforms
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $78,000.00-87,000.00 annually for California.
