Job Description
The Senior Designer will work on a large range of print and event projects for the Dotdash Meredith Lifestyle Group including Better Homes & Gardens, REAL SIMPLE, AllRecipes, Magnolia Journal, Southern Living, Midwest Living, and SIM's.

- Work with the creative team to execute projects ranging from advertising layouts, sell sheets, digital ads, email, event collateral, micro-sites and mockups.

- Concept, design and execute presentations, mood/storyboarding and advertising comps.
- Manage print process from concept to design to releasing for print
10%
- Partner closely with project managers in terms of meeting deadlines and creating timelines
- All other duties as assigned.
III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in design or related field; or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
- 7-10 years working for a magazine brand that also has a web/digital presence.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Solid typographic/layout design skills
- Comprehensive understanding of printing techniques and print production
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members
- Efficient time management and organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Keynote, Powerpoint, and Google Suite
- Extreme attention to detail and consistency of work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment and work both independently and as part of a team

Pay Range: Salary: $64,960 - $92,800
