Job Description
The Digital Product Manager will work within the AMB Sports & Entertainment (AMBSE) team to conceptualize, design, develop, and oversee digital experiences and products for various lines of business. This includes digital properties for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and Atlanta Drive GC. The role involves close coordination with the digital operations team to execute projects across AMBSE departments, meeting deadlines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital products.
Our ideal candidate will possess 4-5 years of experience in product design, digital user experience, digital product development, or a related role. This position will report to the AMBSE Senior Director, Digital Experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead UI/UX Design and Development Team: Oversee the design and development of digital properties across AMBSE lines of business (MBS, Falcons, United, Atlanta Drive GC, etc.).
- Design and Build Web and App Pages: Create and develop web and app pages and assets for Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, and MBS to support various campaigns and launches.
- Enhance User Journeys: Design pages and assets to optimize user journeys on MercedesBenzStadium.com and AtlantaFalcons.com, leading to increased conversion rates and improved user experience.
- Manage Integrations: Oversee app and web platform integrations across all lines of business.
- Collaborate with Email Manager: Partner with the Sr. Email Manager to design new email templates for AMBSE brands, enhancing visual presence and engagement within email campaigns.
Skills and Basic Qualifications
- 4-5 years of Experience: In product design, digital user experience, or a related digital role.
- Bachelor's Degree: In graphic design, user interface, user experience, or a related field.
- Passionate: About building exceptional products and solving customer and business problems.
- Flexible Schedule: Availability to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Team Management: Ability to lead a team for UI/UX requests and needs.
- Project Management: Ability to multitask, manage various projects, and align goals across multiple departments.
- Deadline-oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Comfortable working in a matrixed organization across media, marketing, community, sponsorship, PR, and football/soccer operations.
- Team Player: Thrives in projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Strong analytical, prioritization, and communication skills.
- CMS Experience: Proficient in using content management systems (Webflow, Pocket, Contentful preferred).
- UI/UX Tools: Experience with user interface design, prototyping, and design platforms such as Adobe XD, Figma, and Photoshop.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end languages.
- API and JSON Understanding: Familiarity with API endpoints and JSON.
- Organizational Experience: Experience managing the digital needs of a large organization serving cross-functional departments.
- Design Fundamentals: Ability to design user interfaces and experiences rooted in graphic design fundamentals and compositional awareness.
- Media/Sports Background: Experience within a large media or sports property, with an understanding of core revenue-generating processes.
- Audience Engagement: Understanding of digital products that generate engagement and excitement, particularly with younger/emerging audiences.
