Job Description

TMZ is seeking an experienced Senior Producer. The Senior Producer candidate will be a hands-on, self-starter with news, talk show, and/or documentary style show experience who can effectively manage multiple priorities within a busy, fast paced environment. This position requires someone who is extremely detail oriented, organized, and able to problem solve and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Compile research and assets for a variety of episodes
  • Contribute and assist other team members with the preparation of detailed scripts/notes for on-air talent
  • Generate show topics, talking points, and show rundown
  • Daily collaboration with other Production team members, Clearance, the editorial team, editors, and other staff to develop episodes and show ideas
  • Contribute and assist other team members with the preparation of detailed research
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in TV or Film Production, or equivalent work experience
  • Ideal candidate must have at least 4+ years of experience in a news, talk show, and/or documentary
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Adobe Premiere and Photoshop skills are a plus
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $120,000.00-135,000.00 annually for California.
