Job Description
Overview and Responsibilities:
The overall department's mission is to produce best-in-class productions and executions to support Ad Sales initiatives. In addition, it is important we drive ratings and enhance viewer perception by developing equity-building advertising, promotions, public relations campaigns, special events, and pro-social efforts for Black Entertainment Television, Inc. and its associated networks including BET and BET HER. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Brand Solutions, Ad Sales.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The ideal candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Brand Solutions, Ad Sales.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Produce and edit compelling vignettes, contests, sales tapes, sizzles and tune-in spots, and ensure fluidity in look, tune-in information, and accuracy of all messages for both client and BET
- Manage ongoing client relationships including weekly client calls, ideation sessions, and development of timelines and deliver protocols
- Lead field production shoots
- Develop and reconcile production budgets along with Sr Coordinator consistent with overall sales goals
- Work on other productions for Ad Sales Production as assigned
- Coordinate with Vice President to organize and run weekly meeting schedules and overall project tracking
- Collaborate with Brand Solutions group to handle receipt of Project Request Forms (PRF) and Project Authorization forms (PAF) in order to track and handle all ongoing ASP assignments
- Nurture and maintain positive relationships with key Ad Sales clients, Producers, Editors, Copywriters and Production staff
- Establish and maintain a solid understanding of the Black consumer & BET viewer
- Work closely with BET Digital and all other BET departments to ensure inclusivity of all key messages
- Understand all aspects of production, including promo/ vignette development, use of various editing systems including AVID and Pro Tools
Basic Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in TV production at a television network or post-production facility
- 5-7 years of experience in project management and customer service
- Bachelor's degree in communications, film/video production, or another related field
Additional Qualifications:
- Excellent writing and superior customer service skills
- Ability to work with clients and various departments
- Ability to work on competing priorities, projects and deadlines
- Quick problem solver with good judgment
- Ability to build and reconcile all production budgets
