Job Description

We are looking for an Unreal TD Senior who’s a technical generalist experienced in Unreal Engine. You’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting film and episodic projects. Getting involved in all areas of virtual production including ICVFX, simulcam, mocap, and visualisation including previs, techvis and postvis.

You’ll be hands-on with Unreal including nDisplay, LiveLink, Multi-User, DMX, Take Recorder, Blueprints, and Sequencer. You’ll help us to ensure our projects are performant and reliable by identifying, documenting and solving potential problems. You’ll need to be confident operating live sessions and adjusting scenes to meet direction on layout, lighting, grading, sequencer etc. You’ll lead development of blueprint editor utilities to improve our pipeline and speed up repetitive tasks. You’ll delegate tasks and responsibilities on set ensuring that projects are delivered successfully.

This is a hybrid role working from home, our London office or on set globally as required.

Must-Have
  • Unreal Engine experience (5+ years) including nDisplay, Live Link, Multi-User, Take Recorder, Blueprints, and Sequencer
  • On set experience (2+ years) or similar live environments: XR, events, film production, performance, broadcast etc
  • Virtual production experience (2+ years) including ICVFX, simulcam, visualisation, and mocap
  • Advanced Perforce knowledge
  • Real-time and VFX pipeline experience
Nice to Have
  • Relevant education or training (computer science, games technology, computer animation, film production etc)
  • Experience with 3D packages such as Maya, Max, or Blender
  • ShotGrid (or similar tracking software)
