Job Description

FloSports is seeking a passionate, organized, and talented self-starter to develop and create short-form video content for the FloSports network. The ideal candidate is a rare breed: a creative storyteller who can shoot and edit compelling video content on a variety of subjects in multiple formats – highlights, athlete features, studio shows, and social media executions. The ability to multitask, hit deadlines, and surprise our audience with fresh, innovative content is a must. An important core function of this role is the ability to handle all elements of video creation: pre-production, shooting, and editing. Knowledge of how to create and what performs well on social media is likewise important - we’re looking for someone with their finger on the pulse of modern video trends (vertical video on TikTok, Instagram, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Produce, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for all of FloSports’ channels both on the road and in Austin, TX 
  • Coordinate with the editorial team on assignments 
  • Develop and pitch new short-form video content ideas to the editorial team 
  • Communicate daily with the editorial team on assignments 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  
  • Experienced video editor (Adobe suite) who can provide a reel or examples of relevant work 
  • Experienced Video Shooter (A7siii, Fx3, Fx6, and Fx9) with reel or examples of relevant work strongly preferred 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Proven fluency in various short form and long form video content
