Job Description
Combine your love of television and passion for great food by becoming the producer of a new cooking themed show. Showrunner/Producer position to oversee all aspects of a new half-hour studio-based cooking show that features a host and a wide variety of local chefs.
- Applicants need to have experience producing (either similar types of shows or even newscasts) and must be familiar with all aspects of local television production.
- Duties will include collaborating with the host, coordinating with the chefs on the structure of each segment, plus writing intros, transitions and teases.
- Creativity is key.
- Candidates need to have an extreme interest in food and cooking.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, possess strong written and verbal skills, and have the ability to communicate effectively with guests and crew.
- Four years’ work experience preferred.
