Job Description
WCPO, Cincinnati's ABC affiliate owned by The E.W. Scripps Company is looking for a summer newsroom sports intern. If you're a journalism student in college considering a career as a broadcast journalist, this opportunity is for you. This internship is part-time and paid.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Hands-on work in all facets of broadcast news production
- Create content for multiple platforms
- Gain experience in a competitive environment
- Learn broadcast producing, writing and editing skills
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Enrollment at accredited university as sophomore or above and in good academic standing
- Be available to work June-August 2024 (specific dates TBD)
- Be able to relocate to the market, if necessary
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Strong desire to learn and succeed in the industry
- Ability to work as part of a team
