Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the successful functioning and operation of studio and related equipment during live and/or recorded programs or segments
  • Act as stage manager or other related duties as assigned by control room personnel
  • Re-position and/or troubleshoot robotic studio cameras as instructed by control room personnel
  • Operate and/or troubleshoot handheld camera (MOVI) as directed by control room personnel
  • Demonstrated ability to operate studio jib competently
  • Set up and operate related studio equipment in outdoor or remote settings as directed by control room or remote personnel
  • Set up and operate camera equipment, audio, and lighting on one-person ENG style shoots as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience as camera operator or studio technician in medium to major market
  • College degree in media production or related field preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of robotic camera operation, hand-held cameras (MOVI preferred), jib camera, practical lighting, audio, and all phases of studio operation
  • Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, a definite plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees, supervisors, and control room personnel in a variety of live and/or recorded situations
  • Availability to work weekends and weeknights
  • Must demonstrate a general artistic ability including design, balance, composition, and lighting
