Job Description
The Director/TD’s job is to switch video sources, perform live digital effects and transitions, and insert pre-recorded material, graphics and titles while communicating to the camera operators which shots they will be putting on the air.
The Technical Director/Director must be experienced in preparing and switching various video elements during live event productions. Work is expected to meet FloSports quality standards and will be executed in a fast-paced, live production environment.
Technical Director/Director responsibilities include:
- Prepares and switches video sources at a high level
- Performs live digital effects and transitions
- Inserts pre-records, graphics, and title slates
- Strong communication skills in camera operations calling
- Proficient with Blackmagic ATEM and VMIX switching software
