Job Description
This Background Designer will support the Background Design team in creating fully layered 2D backgrounds exclusively in Photoshop for a weekly news comedy show with a tight turnaround. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, works well under deadlines, and has the ability to emulate cable news style. Comedy experience is not required.

- Support the Background Design team in creating fully layered 2D backgrounds exclusively in Photoshop.
- Drawing precise layouts and rendering them in a polished, naturalistic style that adheres strongly to established brand guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Undergraduate degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience required.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines for daily turnaround.
- Excellent layout and digital painting skills.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented.
- Character design experience is a plus.
- Have a strong work ethic, and can adapt quickly to a constantly changing script and design needs.
- Ability to work evenings.
