The Log Coordinator is responsible for the proper placement of all commercial content and finalization of the On-Air logs.
The Log Coordinator is responsible for the proper placement of all commercial content and finalization of the On-Air logs.
- Prepare and finalize the 24-hour log.
- Verify program and break lengths are accurate.
- Responsible for navigating advertiser commercial placement.
- Ensures billboard and sponsorship spots are matched with advertisers.
- Communicates log issues with Sales and management.
- Processes and file log change requests and issues.
- Execute Hot-Starts and special program start and end times.
- Works closely with Sales to ensure advertiser accommodations are met.
- Assist Traffic management with various departmental projects.
- Works closely with BS&P to ensure certain spots are approved to air.
- Very 24-hour log is FCC compliant before releasing to BS&P
- Translate the downloaded log.
- Handle various duties for Traffic Manager when Manager is out or unavailable.
JOB-RELATED EDUCATION:
- AA degree (preferable in Television/Radio Broadcasting or other related fields)
JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:
- Required Qualifications:
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have clerical and data input experience.
- Must have 1-2 year’s experience in Television Traffic.
- Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of WideOrbit Traffic System, Microsoft Word and Excel.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $47,430 - $58,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week.
