Job Description
This role is an opportunity to develop foundational expertise in multiple areas! You will be very hands on in publishing videos, optimizing channels and playlists, and analyzing data to determine how our content is performing. A keen attention to detail is needed to ensure content is released on time, our release schedule is up to date, and administrative support tasks such as processing invoices are handled in a timely manner.

- Develop expert proficiency in YouTube platform management tools and act as a lead for video publishing, channel optimization, playlisting, and videos
- Ensure new and remastered video content is released on time by communicating with stakeholders along the video supply chain and maintaining the release schedule
- Evaluate YouTube channels and make recommendations for improvements
- Develop proficiency with YouTube Rights Management policies and tools and be the team’s primary point of contact for claiming updates, content protection, and other rights management tasks
- Perform administrative support tasks such as processing invoices, routing assets (video, audio, and text files), assisting with product metadata research, and set up requests
- Use YouTube analytics to research performance, identify trends, and derive insights about our content and our audiences
- Assist with team analysis and reporting objectives (quantitative and qualitative)
- Contribute to creative marketing and content development brainstorms
- Collaborate with external optimization vendors to lead thumbnail optimization initiatives
- Assist on NYC-based video productions as needed
About you:
- Highly-organized and meticulous with a proven track record of meeting deadlines while managing a high volume of deliverables
- Experience using spreadsheets to track deliverables and report on performance
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to positively and effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external contacts in the record label ecosystem
- Up to date on social media spaces and internet trends
- Creative with a deep curiosity for music discovery
We’d love it if you also had:
- 1+ years of experience in the entertainment or music industry
- An Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with YouTube and/or YouTube Certifications
- Well versed in Pop & Hip Hop music from the 2010s
- Proficient in Spanish or Portuguese
Salary Range: $16.00 to $18.35 Hourly
