Job Summary:
Multiplatform Editor & Producer – The 6abc Multiplatform Programming Department is looking for a talented and experienced video editor and producer. We are looking for more than a tape cutter, we want a storyteller who can take pictures and sound and turn them into video experiences that viewers will seek out. Our editors produce long content for our weekly FYI Philly, entertaining specials and events as well as short-form stories for the 6abc digital platforms. They also create their own content, through strong videography and writing.

Responsibilities
Multiplatform Editor & Producer – The 6abc Multiplatform Programming Department is looking for a talented and experienced video editor and producer. We are looking for more than a tape cutter, we want a storyteller who can take pictures and sound and turn them into video experiences that viewers will seek out. Our editors produce long content for our weekly FYI Philly, entertaining specials and events as well as short-form stories for the 6abc digital platforms. They also create their own content, through strong videography and writing.

Responsibilities
- Shoot, produce and edit short-form videos and documentary specials
- Generate exciting and informative concepts with the production team
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously from concept through execution
- Collaborate with and support supervising producers throughout all projects and processes
Basic Requirements
- Experience shooting with C300s & Cannon 5Ds
- High level of expertise in Adobe Suite, with an emphasis on Premiere Pro
- Excellent written, verbal, and time management skills
- Minimum of three years of experience creating digital video content in a collaborative environment for a platform, agency, network, or brand.
- A positive and optimistic outlook that matches the brand’s mission
- We have hard deadlines and we meet them with quality productions, and sometimes that means working late and on weekends.

- High school diploma or equivalent
