Job Description
The position of News Writer/Editor is a first step to an exciting and creative career in journalism. If you love creating videos this job is for you! WLUK is the leading news station in the Green Bay market. Our professional journalists create content on both digital and broadcast platforms. The position of Writer/Editor is responsible for editing video for our morning newscast and is an important member of our "Good Day Wisconsin" team.
Job responsibilities include:

- Editing video for daily news coverage for Good Day Wisconsin
- Taking in news feeds from news bureaus and various news organizations
- Collaborating with anchors, reporters, and producers on video elements of newscasts
- Meeting daily deadlines in a high-energy working environment
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Some College or Technical school training is preferred
- Experience with video editing software such as AVID is a plus
- Appreciation of current events and news content is vital
- Ability to multi-task and deal with deadline pressure
- Ability to work with a multitude of people and personalities while maintaining a professional work environment
